Job summary

Calvert Systems Engineering seeks a senior operations trainer to lead RC/WC-135 training initiatives in Hampton, VA. You will guide program development, standardize curricula, and oversee IQT/MQT/RQT/CT readiness while coordinating with ACC TRSS Det 10 to ensure operational alignment.

You will analyze readiness, manage metrics, and advise on budgeting and fiscal planning to support ongoing training improvements and cost-effective execution.

Qualifications

• 6 years of RC/WC-135 weapon systems aircrew or equivalent DoW experience in last 10 years.
• 4 years of USAF HQ staff experience working RC/WC-135 programs in last 8 years.
• 4 years training program management and standardization/evaluation experience.
• 4 years as a senior project/program manager with leadership responsibilities.
• 3 years in USAF HQ staff environment with staff briefing and coordination duties.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, establish, and implement RC/WC-135 training programs aligned with requirements.
• Oversee RAP, PFT, FTU IQT programs ensuring compliance and readiness objectives.
• Review and maintain IQT/MQT/RQT/CT syllabi, TTLs, and ISD-based courseware; report to leadership.
• Coordinate aircrew training syllabi development and annual risk mitigation reviews.
• Develop metrics to assess training program effectiveness and deliver leadership reports.
• Identify requirements, deficiencies, and solutions for training programs; analyze timelines.
• Assess current and future RC/WC-135 capabilities to determine training needs.
• Assist with PPBE/POM duties and ensure fiscal alignment for training requirements.
