Job summary

SixGen, Inc. in Columbia, MD, is seeking a Senior Platform / DevOps Engineer to build and operate the AI enterprise infrastructure for USCYBERCOM, delivering secure, scalable guardrails and CI/CD for AI models and agents.

You will deploy in cloud and on-prem environments (AWS, Azure, air-gapped) and partner with AI/ML teams to optimize deployments, monitoring, and security accreditation (RMF/ATO).

Qualifications

• 10+ years in DevOps or platform engineering with cloud and on-prem environments.
• Experience designing robust pipelines and deployment workflows for AI workloads.
• Strong knowledge of security practices for AI systems and RMF/ATO readiness.

Responsibilities

• Provide embedded operations support and rapid prototyping for AI-enabled tools.
• Design and maintain infrastructure for enterprise AI apps in AWS/Azure and air-gapped environments.
• Develop workflows to support AI model development, deployment, and maintenance.
• Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI models, agents, and apps.
• Implement containerization and guardrails with Docker, Kubernetes, identity, and logging.
• Ensure lifecycle management, versioning, monitoring, and scaling of AI models/assets.
• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to optimize deployments and resource use.
• Ensure system performance, security, and accreditation readiness for AI infra.
