Job summary

Mandiant, a Google Cloud division, seeks an experienced Senior Incident Response Security Consultant to lead end‑to‑end incident response engagements in the United States. You will drive investigations, containment, and remediation while mentoring junior team members and communicating findings to stakeholders.

The role emphasizes in-depth malware triage, host and network forensics, and the ability to convey complex security concepts to technical staff and executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of end-to-end incident response investigations, analysis, or containment actions.
• 5 years of investigative experience with network forensics, log analysis, malware triage, and disk/memory forensics in one or more OSes.
• Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with internal and customer teams to investigate and contain incidents.
• Recognize and codify attacker Tools, TTPs and IOCs for current and future investigations.
• Conduct host forensics, network forensics, log analysis, and malware triage in support of incident response investigations.
