Job summary

Far West Federal Holding, LLC seeks a Contract Specialist V Team Lead to manage a PBGC procurement stream and perform complex cradle-to-grave contracting. The role includes workload planning, mentoring staff, and coordinating with COs, CORs, and program customers.

The position requires senior-level acquisition expertise, strong communication, and ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment during PBGC core hours. Some remote work possible within approved guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent combination may be considered.
• At least 10 years of federal acquisition experience on cradle-to-grave contracts.
• Advanced knowledge of FAR, market research, planning, solicitations, and closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead a PBGC procurement branch or workstream and perform complex contracting work.
• Mentor team, manage workload, and escalate risks to the Program Manager.
• Draft pre-award and post-award documents including SOWs, PWSs, and justifications.
• Support RFPs/RFQs, evaluation activities, price analysis, and award documentation.
• Prepare and review contract modifications, funding actions, and closeout actions.
• Maintain complete files and support COR reviews and reporting.
