Job summary

BPM LLP in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking an Assurance Manager to lead engagements, supervise audit teams, and deliver high-quality financial reporting for clients across technology, life sciences, and more.

You will develop client relationships, manage budgets, apply complex accounting concepts, mentor staff, and drive continuous improvement in our audit processes while upholding the firm’s commitment to people and communities.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Licensed CPA.
• 5+ years in public accounting across multiple industries; SEC experience preferred.
• Ability to lead and supervise audit engagements and staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple engagements and resolve audit, accounting, and regulatory issues.
• Supervise services to clients including audit strategy, budgets, scheduling, staffing, and financial reporting.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to drive satisfaction.
• Apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
• Mentor staff with training, feedback and career guidance.
• Draft and deliver proposals for engagements; plan and execute audits year-round.
• Supervise and coordinate Sioux Falls team members and communicate issues with engagement management.
• Develop and execute audit strategy from planning to reporting.
