Job summary

BPM LLP is seeking an Assurance Senior in the Santa Rosa area. The role involves executing audits, reviewing work, and communicating with leaders and client personnel to complete assurance engagements.

You will supervise junior staff, develop audit strategy, and maintain client relationships while applying complex accounting concepts. The firm emphasizes flexible work, professional development, and a remote-friendly environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in public accounting in a variety of industries; SEC experience preferred.
• Experience auditing complex accounts like inventory, revenue, equity/stock options, etc.
• Demonstrated leadership/supervisor experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong desire to continuously learn.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for day-to-day planning and execution of multiple client engagements throughout the year.
• Supervise associate level professionals and delegate engagement responsibilities.
• Communicate and resolve issues that arise during the audit engagement with support of the engagement manager.
• Develop and execute audit strategy from planning to reporting.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, driving client satisfaction.
• Research, understand and apply complex accounting concepts and auditing procedures.
• Draft financials and report audit findings (verbal and written).
• Develop, motivate, and mentor associates through training, feedback and career guidance.
• Champion sustainable workplace practices by supporting remote-first operations and paperless workflows.
