Job summary

Odyssey Systems Consulting Group, Ltd. seeks a Space Domain Awareness Radar Systems Project Engineer for the Sensors Branch of CFC MD2/2 STS. This full-time role is based in Colorado Springs with an option for remote work 1–2 days per week at government discretion.

You will support acquisition, system design, and test activities across ground- and space-based SDA assets, coordinating with DoD and Space Force stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.

Responsibilities

• Develop engineering schedules and cost estimates; support the Program Manager to monitor cost/schedule performance.
• Draft and review system requirements and design docs; TRD, CDD, CPD, ICDs, system specs, tests.
• Provide proposal analysis comparing systems for technical feasibility and cost effectiveness.
• Deliver technical recommendations, including reviews, studies, audits, evaluations and analyses.
• Support system integration plans, procedures and scenarios.
• Participate in trade studies to select design solutions and hardware/software components.
• Develop plans, analyze tests, and validate complex system and subsystem testing results.
• Contribute to system test plans and coordinate site/system test activities with contractors.
• Establish milestones and monitor master plans; identify risks and mitigations.
• Coordinate resolution of system issues with contractors; monitor DT&E, OT&E, OA activities.
• Identify sustainment risks and propose mitigation strategies; interact with stakeholders and integrators.
• Travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations as directed; provide input to acquisition planning.
