Job summary

The University of Kansas Medical Center Cancer Center is seeking a Regulatory Coordinator to manage study-specific regulatory and safety reporting across multiple trials. This role ensures compliance with CFR, GCP, HIPAA and KUMC policies, and serves as the primary contact for study-start up activities including IRB submissions and maintenance of regulatory records.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of work experience in healthcare or research setting.
• Experience with CFR, GCP, HIPAA regulations governing clinical research.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in health sciences, biology, nursing, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit regulatory documents including to the Institutional Review Board.
• Process, route, and track regulatory documents for study start-up.
• Maintain trial master file and regulatory binder.
• Maintain study files for team credentials (GCP training, CV, medical license).
• Assist study monitors during routine visits or audits.
• Update protocol-specific systems with complete information and regulatory updates.
• Coordinate with investigators, study personnel, and sponsors on regulatory and safety concerns.
• Ensure compliance with KUMC policies and local, state, and federal laws.
