Angus Media, a subsidiary of the American Angus Association, is seeking a meticulous Proofreader to ensure advertisements, promotional pieces and print materials are accurate and publication-ready. The role supports the advertising and print media teams by reviewing content on tight deadlines and applying AP style and internal standards.

Based in Saint Joseph, MO, this full-time clerical position reports to the Director of Advertising and Print Media.

Qualifications

• Impeccable grammar, spelling and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proofread advertisements, promotional pieces and print materials on tight deadlines.
• Adhere to Angus Media’s in-house style guide.
• Proofread Angus Journal and Angus Beef Bulletin advertising, along with related customer materials.
• Proofread print projects, including customer materials, promotional pieces and special projects as needed.
• Regularly check in with Manager to discuss project needs.
• Other related duties as assigned.
