Job summary

Texas Health and Human Services is seeking a Project Manager II in Austin to support the Maintenance & Construction department on multiple construction and renovation projects. You will maintain document libraries, SOPs, and project databases, and assist with documentation and compliance throughout project lifecycles.

Responsibilities include preparing reports, coordinating with architects and engineers, and providing status updates to leadership.

Responsibilities

• Uses project documents, such as drawings, inspection reports, and narratives to prepare decision documents and support reports for HHSC leadership.
• Prepares monthly status reports showing budgets, schedules, change orders and variances for review with project teams.
• Assists in drafting change orders and contract amendments to initiate construction projects.
• Reviews milestones and schedules with contractors and engineers for completeness and alignment with project scope.
• Maintains on-call availability to advise on building and system issues and coordinates with vendors.
