Job summary

Allstate is seeking a Product Engineer to design, build, and support high quality digital products using modern engineering practices. You will partner closely with product managers and fellow engineers to deliver scalable, cloud-native, user-centered solutions.

You will be accountable for the success of your digital product(s), from design and implementation through production support and performance management against key metrics.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with the listed core technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Java 17+ and Spring Boot 3.x+
• Frontend experience with ReactJS/AngularJS/Typescript
• Experience with REST APIs and distributed systems
• CI/CD experience with Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• Docker and Kubernetes experience

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance full-stack software products
• Implement testing strategies to validate acceptance criteria
• Practice pair programming and TDD
• Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate on system and application design
• Participate in sprint planning and daily standups
• Provide production support for software products
