Job summary

The Institute for Systems Research (ISR) at the University of Maryland, College Park seeks an experienced Program Manager, Communications & External Relations. You will define ISR’s strategic communications objectives and lead the creation of print and digital content to amplify ISR’s research and impact.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of three years in professional communications or marketing.
Knowledge of writing, editing, proofreading, and AP style.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and graphic/web tools.
Excellent multitasking and customer-service skills.

Responsibilities

Define ISR's strategic communications objectives and content plan.
Architect and curate ISR’s print and digital content.
Oversee all digital outreach: website, social media, newsletters.
Collaborate with Clark School and campus partners to raise ISR profile.
Provide high-level communications support to the ISR Director.
Manage promotional aspects of events from start to post-event follow up.
