Job summary

Amgen North Carolina is seeking a Senior Associate Manufacturing - Technical Training for Upstream Bulk Drug Substance. The role develops and facilitates training and the Human and Organizational Performance philosophy within the NC biologics drug substance manufacturing plant.

You will support reliability, efficiency, agility and plant differentiation while collaborating across functions. The position requires expertise in training development, SOP writing, GxP environments and experience with

Qualifications

• Background in biologics Drug Substance manufacturing and investigations.
• Experience in training development and facilitation.
• Training content creation in systems (SOPs, videos, SOP updates).
• SOP writing & technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the manufacturing training strategy to ensure operational readiness and efficient time to contribution.
• Provide training expertise for manufacturing areas (cell culture, purification, MFG Services).
• Lead and organize New Hire Orientation with up-to-date content.
• Create Performance Supporting Materials from Job Task Analysis to enable best-in-class training.
• Support investigations and change controls for manufacturing teams.

Education

Master’s degree

Bachelor’s degree + 6 months of Manufacturing or Operations experience

Associate’s degree + 2 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience

High school diploma / GED + 4 years of Manufacturing or Operations experience
