Job summary

Minnesota IT Services (MNIT) is seeking a Digital Transformation Change Lead to steer organizational change management for major IT initiatives in Minnesota. You will partner with DCYF and MNIT leadership to design and drive change strategies, communications, and adoption plans that enable successful technology transformations.

The role emphasizes people-centric change, executive collaboration, and delivering measurable adoption outcomes across state systems.

Qualifications

Minimum of four (4) years IT-related experience leading or supporting organizational change management for IT initiatives.
Experience developing and implementing change management strategies enabling adoption of new technologies and processes.
Ability to apply structured change frameworks (e.g., Prosci ADKAR, Kotter, Bridges).
Experience supporting SDLC activities with business and technical teams.
Experience creating change deliverables: stakeholder assessments, communication plans, readiness, adoption metrics.
Strong written and verbal communication with a customer-focused, problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

Lead organizational change management for large IT initiatives.
Collaborate with executive leadership and technical teams to develop change strategies.
Guide adoption planning, readiness assessments, and stakeholder engagement to ensure successful transformations.
