Excellus Health Plan Inc. seeks an Information Security & Cybersecurity Engineer to develop, maintain, and coordinate the organization’s information security program.

The role spans Security Operations, Governance, Risk & Compliance, and IAM, with on-call rotations and cross-functional collaboration in a large health plan. The position supports HIPAA, PCI, and COBIT compliance, integrates security controls, and partners with management to mature security across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 6 years related experience accepted.
• Hands-on OS experience: mainframe, Windows, UNIX (Linux/AIX/Solaris).
• Basic knowledge of encryption, PKI, networks, and security controls.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate organization-wide security infrastructures.
• Provide risk management and compliance services.
• Support HIPAA, MAR, PCI, COBIT compliance activities.
• Integrate security tools into new and existing systems.
• Assist in audits and risk assessments for divisions.
