Job summary

Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc. seeks an Information Security & Cybersecurity Engineer to develop, maintain, and coordinate the organization’s information security program. The role spans Security Operations, Governance, Risk and Compliance, and Identity & Access Management.

The engineer provides risk management services and consulting across the Life time Healthcare Companies, supporting multiple business lines and management levels with security controls and policy enforcement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or relevant field or 6 cumulative years of related experience.
• Hands-on experience with OS such as Windows, UNIX/Linux.
• Knowledge of security concepts: Encryption, PKI, network/application security, and authentication methods.
• Familiarity with vulnerability management tools and security monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and operate organization-wide security infrastructures.
• Provide support for security technologies and risk management activities.
• Maintain information security framework maturity and compliance.
• Respond to security requests within defined SLAs; monitor risk artifacts.
• Assist in audits and vendor security assessments.
