Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Five years of experience with truck/heavy equipment collision/mechanical repair, claims, or related experience.
• Multiple state adjuster and appraiser licenses required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and evaluates moderately complex heavy equipment/truck damage claims.
• Reviews loss notices and policies to verify coverage and loss period.
• Evaluates repair estimates and vehicle values to determine repair versus total loss.
• Negotiates settlements and sets reserves for exposure.
• Prepares damage estimates and communicates with insureds and attorneys.
