1-800 Water Damage in McKinney, TX is seeking a General Manager of Restoration Operations to lead daily work, ensure quality and profitability, and develop the team while remaining hands-on in the field when needed. This is a working GM—someone who can lead from the office, the jobsite, or wherever the business needs them.

This leadership role combines office oversight with field execution, CAT event readiness, and strong adherence to IICRC standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional restoration experience; advanced water damage experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily restoration operations for water, mold, fire, and reconstruction projects.
• Supervise Project Managers, estimators, technicians, and production teams.
• Step into the field as needed to perform or direct advanced restoration work and large-loss projects.
• Evaluate losses, develop scopes, drying plans, and resource requirements.
• Ensure proper documentation, safety, PPE, and customer service standards.
• Monitor project schedules, labor, equipment, material usage, and profitability.
• Identify operational problems quickly and take ownership of solutions.
