Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking a Field Data Analyst based in California to support landfill gas projects, OM&M, and liquid management data. The role is full-time with some remote flexibility, but you must reside in the Pacific Time Zone.

You will collect and analyze data, prepare regulatory reports, and assist with QA/QC and geospatial drawings. A background in environmental compliance, Excel, AutoCAD or GIS, and a relevant degree are preferred; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• 2 years of environmental compliance experience required.
• Knowledge of Federal, State, and Local rules relating to landfill air compliance and solid waste regulations preferred.
• Excel analysis functions and lookup functions (VLOOKUP, INDEX, MATCH) preferred.
• AutoCAD or geospatial data experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing required.

Responsibilities

• Follow procedures related to SCS’ Quality Management System and QA/QC activities.
• Collect, compile, organize and analyze data for projects using statistical techniques.
• Prepare reports including tabulated data, calculations, charts, graphs, and figures for clients and regulatory submittals.
• Regulatory compliance tracking and scheduling.
• Help create drawings and maps using geospatial data.
• Electronic filing of documents and data.
• Provide support to field, administrative and management teams.
