Job summary

Fennemore is seeking an attorney with three or more years of employment litigation experience for our Orange County office. The ideal candidate will draft pleadings, motions, memoranda, and employee handbooks, and manage written discovery, depositions, and discovery disputes.

California Bar membership and employment law experience are required, with in-person court appearances in Los Angeles, Orange, and Inland Empire.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of employment litigation experience.
• California state and federal procedure familiarity.
• Experience drafting pleadings, motions, memoranda, and employee handbooks.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Manage written discovery, depositions, and discovery disputes.
• Prepare memoranda and employee handbooks; supervise matters with limited oversight.
• Make in-person court appearances in LA County, Orange County, and Inland Empire.
• Conduct strong legal research and writing.
