ALPS Insurance Agency Inc. is seeking a skilled Claims Attorney to join our team in a full-time role. You will oversee intake, investigation, evaluation, and resolution of professional liability claims against insured attorneys, requiring a JD and several years of relevant experience.

Formación

• A Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
• Minimum of 3 years in practice or claims in lawyer's professional liability.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical and negotiation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Review coverage for lawyer’s professional liability (LPL) claims.
• Investigate and evaluate facts and law to assess risk.
• Set reserves based on risk assessment and authorities.
• Resolve claims in a timely and reasonable manner.
• Coordinate and monitor defense and outside counsel as needed.
• Maintain claim files and report to reinsurers.
