Job summary

The State of Georgia Department of Human Services seeks a Child Welfare Services Case Manager 1 for Valdosta, Lowndes County. Under supervision, you learn to provide investigative and comprehensive case management for reports of child or adult abuse or neglect.

You will assess safety, develop and implement safety plans, coordinate services with families and community partners, and document activities in a timely, policy-driven manner.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Ability to perform investigations and safety planning.
• Ability to work with families and communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide investigative and comprehensive case management for reports of child/adult abuse or neglect.
• Develop and implement safety plans to address identified safety concerns.
• Collaborate with families and community partners to achieve desired outcomes.
