Job summary

Bridgeway Academy is seeking a part-time Live Online Elementary Teaching Assistant to support live online classes from a fully remote environment. The role requires 9–18 hours per week between 9:00am and 3:00pm, with training provided and a focus on assisting teachers and students in an engaging virtual learning setting.

Applicants should have a high school diploma and experience with Zoom and Microsoft Office, plus comfort with online learning tools.

Qualifications

• High school diploma minimum; some college preferred.
• Experience with Zoom video conferencing.
• Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Ability to utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Edovate LMS.
• Experience with online education or digital learning tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor Zoom chat and breakout rooms during live sessions.
• Assist with attendance, grading, and submission tracking.
• Provide class coverage when the Lead Teacher is absent and support families as needed.
• Communicate with families and homeschool instructors as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
