Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy is a tuition-free, full-time virtual school serving K–12 students in Georgia. Teachers deliver synchronous and asynchronous instruction from the Duluth office and a home office within Georgia, engaging families and using data to drive student growth.

Essential responsibilities include MTSS/RTI interventions, collaboration with staff, and ensuring accessibility and equity in learning. Strong tech skills and travel for events are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in the content area or related field.
• Georgia teaching certification in the subject area.
• Strong technology skills with Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to travel for marketing and state testing events.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality synchronous instruction and create asynchronous resources aligned to curriculum and state standards.
• Provide differentiated Tier 1 instruction within MTSS/RTI to plan and deliver Tier 2 and Tier 3 interventions.
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to ensure accommodations are implemented with fidelity and aligned to learning needs.
• Use assessment data to diagnose student learning needs, plan instruction, monitor progress, and adjust strategies.
• Maintain knowledge of K–12 curriculum pathways and instructional goals.
