Job summary

Georgia Connections Academy is seeking a Reading Interventionist to support student achievement in English Language Arts with focus on reading Fluency and comprehension. The role allows work from our Duluth, GA office or remotely within Georgia, with responsibilities including data-driven instruction and progress reporting.

The ideal candidate is fully qualified to teach Elementary ELA in Georgia, with strong communication and technology skills, and a collaborative, patient approach.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Strong technology skills, especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs.
• Team player with ability to collaborate
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events
• May require occasional evening hours

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality instruction in English Language Arts to students in small groups and individually.
• Use data to monitor student progress and adjust instruction to reach grade-level goals.
• Collaborate with teachers, administration, and families to identify best practices for intervention.
• Support RTI processes and contribute to program development.
• Participate in in-person and virtual student-centered activities and events.
