Job summary

ACCEL Schools online program seeks qualified teachers to serve as the teacher of record for core content areas in a K–12 online Florida program. The role involves delivering rigorous live sessions, tracking student progress, and maintaining strong family communication while meeting state accountability goals.

Remote teaching requires experience with LMS, differentiation, and data-driven instruction. Occasional in-person state testing and events are required throughout the year.

Qualifications

• Current State teaching license in appropriate content area.
• Knowledge of State Standards and Common Core Standards.
• Two years’ teaching experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook).
• Ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the teacher of record and primary instructor in core content areas and grade levels.
• Deliver live lessons via web conference based on student needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback daily.
• Communicate regularly with families about academic and social-emotional growth.
• Collaborate with Principal to prepare Progress Reports.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs.
• Support school culture with best practices in instruction and engagement.
• Attend in-person state testing and student events as required.
