Job summary

Abbott, a global healthcare leader, seeks a National Product Trainer - LAAO to design and deliver electrophysiology education for field representatives, employees, and customers. You will develop curricula, deliver via classroom and remote modalities, build metrics to measure impact, and partner with Education, Marketing and R&D to keep materials current and compliant.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2+ years training experience in a specific Therapy area or equivalent sales and/or marketing experience.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology medical devices.
• Ability to apply the fundamental concepts and practices to conduct needs assessment and design training programs.
• Understanding and expertise in the technical aspects and application of current and new products in Therapy area.
• Affinity for educating others.
• Demonstrated ability to simplify and explain complex topics effectively and experience developing others.
• Excellent computer and software skills (experience with Microsoft Office or Adobe Creative Cloud required) in graphics, word-processing, databases, authoring programs, etc., to develop presentation materials.
• Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent technical aptitude.
• Ingenuity and willingness to develop creative solutions to complex problems within defined constraints.
• Ability to work in a highly matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
• Ability to work within a team and as an individual contributor in a fast-paced, changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and executing electrophysiology educational programs for Abbott EP field representatives, employees, and customers.
• Developing curricula and training content for multiple modalities (classroom and remote).
• Ensuring field teams are prepared to discuss features, clinical elements, and economic aspects of EP technology.
• Creating metrics to assess program effectiveness and iterating as needed.
• Coordinating with Education, Marketing, and R&D to keep content current and aligned with business goals.
• Maintaining online education materials and a well-equipped training amphitheater and hands-on rooms.
• Engaging field organization through periodic visits to gather feedback and update curricula accordingly.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with FDA requirements.
