Job summary

Medtronic in Minnesota is seeking an Associate Technical Service Specialist to provide in-house technical support for Electrophysiology Technologies, including the Affera Abla­tion System. This role handles hardware/software troubleshooting via a call center and requires precise documentation for cross-functional teams.

The position offers remote work flexibility, with training on-site at Mounds View, MN, and a target 5% annual bonus along with a robust benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have 4+ years experience OR an Associate’s Degree with 2+ years experience OR a Bachelor’s Degree.

Responsibilities

• Resolves technical problems that originate by telephone in a call center/help desk environment.
• Uses expertise in customer service and technical knowledge to resolve issues with software/hardware products during installation, usage, and training.
• May work with technical, sales, customer service or marketing staff to resolve recurring problems and issues with products.
• Provides technical support to users for PC, server or mainframe applications and hardware.
• Answers questions regarding system procedures, online transactions, systems status and downtime procedures.
• Interacts with network services, software systems engineering and/or applications development to restore service or identify problems.
• Maintains a troubleshooting tracking log ensuring timely resolution of problems.
• Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Participates on project teams to provide technical and clinical insight for service improvements.
• Assists with creation of Service Support Plans for new product development.
