Job summary

Southwire Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager to plan and manage electrical projects from initiation to completion. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, contract management, and progress reporting to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

Travel will be 50%+ to Starkville, MS, with a remote work component for visiting sites as needed. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's Degree with 5–7 years in project management; PMP or similar certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Bachelor's Degree; 5–7 years of experience in project management.
• Preferred: Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification; cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Advises senior leadership on project performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Leads cross-functional project teams to meet objectives and timelines.
• Defines terms, goals, and deliverables aligned with client specs.
• Coordinates resources and ensures adherence to schedules, costs and quality.
• Ensures safety, regulatory compliance, and quality standards.
• Establishes best practices and mentors team members for growth.
• Manages performance and development of staff; conducts regular feedback.
• Performs other duties as assigned and supports process improvements.
