Donan Engineering in Nashville, TN is seeking a Field Forensic Engineer I with a background in electrical engineering to join our growing team. This role focuses on completing forensic projects and maintaining adherence to firm standards, client commitments, and budget constraints.

You will report to the CTL Engineering Manager and may travel within the region. The position emphasizes expert analysis, timely reporting, and collaboration with clients to provide accurate timelines and updates.

Qualifications

• Active PE in the state of application; multi-state licensure preferred.
• Willing to obtain additional state licensures.
• Must have or be able to obtain the NCEES record.
• Bachelor’s Degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Forensic experience preferred but not required.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Willing to travel within regional boundaries and possibly other regions.
• Willing to work remotely and from home office.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert forensic analysis for engineering projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for Associate Engineers.
• Prepare detailed reports on completed projects in a timely manner.
• Communicate project timelines and updates to clients.
• Travel within designated regional boundaries as assigned.
