Job summary

Donan Engineering in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a full-time Field Forensic Engineer I with an electrical engineering background. The role focuses on completing forensic projects with budgets and schedules in mind, reporting to the CTL Engineering Manager.

Candidates should hold a PE license in the applicable state, be willing to obtain additional licensures, and have a bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering. Forensic experience is valued but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Active registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the state you apply.
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Minimum bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Previous forensic experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert forensic analysis on engineering projects.
• Serve as Engineer of Record for junior engineers.
• Deliver accurate reports within company guidelines and deadlines.
• Communicate timelines and project updates to clients.
• Travel within regional boundaries; may travel to other regions as needed.
• Provide testimony and depositions when required.
• Pursue ongoing training and certifications for advancement.
