Job summary

D2B is seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Estimator to join our remote team in the Philippines. You will prepare accurate cost estimates, take-offs, BOQs/BOMs, and quotations for electrical projects, supporting tendering, procurement, and handover with Australian standards in mind.

You will work with Groundplan, ECS Estimating Tool, and other systems to track costs, manage RFQs, and coordinate with subcontractors and project managers to ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of projects.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in electrical or construction estimating, quantity surveying, project engineering, or project coordination.
• Australian estimating experience and familiarity with Australian Standards, AS/NZS 3000, and related electrical codes.
• Experience supporting Australian projects remotely or offshore is highly desirable.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and scopes of work.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate electrical estimates, drawing takeoffs, BOQs, and BOMs using Groundplan and the ECS estimating tool.
• Manage RFQ, pricing, tendering, and quoting processes to ensure timely submissions.
• Coordinate procurement and purchase orders, engaging subcontractors and suppliers and tracking materials and project costs.
• Support project coordination and mobilization with Project Managers on schedules, resources, and procurement.
• Assist with progress claims, variations, EOTs, and cost-to-complete tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project documentation using tools like Bluebeam Revu and ensure proper handover documentation.
