DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring judgment from years of hardware design, debugging, and shipping experience; we provide engineering problems that models cannot solve yet.

This role focuses on teaching AI to reason about circuits, systems, and physical constraints, where your engineering judgment and documented reasoning guide the next generation of tools.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of industry experience in circuit or electronics engineering.
• Bachelor’s in EE or related discipline preferred but not required.
• Ability to articulate why an answer is wrong, not only that it is.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging, realistic engineering problems for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs against professional standards.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and assess performance gaps.
• Critique model-generated derivations, schematics, and calculations with written rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence, including errors and unphysical results.
