DataAnnotation is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to evaluate how frontier AI models handle real electrical and electronics engineering work. You bring the judgment you have built over years of designing, debugging, and shipping hardware.

This role focuses on teaching AI to reason about circuits, systems, and physical constraints, with your engineering judgment shaping the next generation of engineering tools and the standards for correct answers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of circuit or electronics engineering experience.
• Background in electrical/electronics engineering.
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual).
• Ability to defend design decisions and articulate reasoning.
• Familiarity with AI tools is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging engineering problems for frontier AI models.
• Run problems through frontier AI models and judge outputs.
• Compare model versions on identical prompts and rank performance.
• Critique model-derived derivations and calculations with written rationale.
• Flag concrete failures with evidence: wrong assumptions, sign and unit errors, unphysical results.
