Job summary

Actalent is seeking an experienced Electrical Designer to support commercial and industrial building projects, with independence in developing electrical systems and construction documents using Revit.

You will collaborate with BIM, engineering, preconstruction, and construction teams through the full project lifecycle, with hybrid/remote options available and regional flexibility for the Fishers, IN area.

Qualifications

• Extensive electrical design experience for commercial/industrial projects
• Proficient in Revit and construction documentation
• Ability to develop panel schedules, load calculations, and one-line diagrams
• Experience coordinating with multi-disciplinary design and construction teams

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for commercial and industrial projects using Autodesk Revit
• Develop power distribution, lighting, low-voltage/data, and related electrical systems
• Perform electrical circuiting and develop panel schedules and load calculations
• Produce complete construction documents including plans, details, schedules, riser diagrams, and one-line diagrams
• Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, mechanical, structural, and other disciplines
• Participate in BIM coordination and resolve design conflicts using Navisworks
• Incorporate RFIs, design changes, and field conditions into project models and documentation
• Perform quality reviews to ensure design accuracy, coordination, and constructability
• Collaborate with engineering, BIM, preconstruction, and field teams from design through construction
