Atlantic Constructors is seeking a skilled Electrical Designer to advance instrumentation and controls for modular manufacturing facilities. You will design electrical, instrumentation, and control systems, develop Revit models, and produce single-line and panel drawings supporting modular builds and data center infrastructure.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication teams to ensure safe operations and regulatory compliance while maximizing reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical field.
• 5+ years in design or manufacturing engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE standards.
• Experience with MCCs, switchboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems.
• Ability to create and interpret electrical drawings in Revit.
• Ability to troubleshoot instrumentation and controls.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for capital projects.
• Create client issue drawings and detailed fabrication drawings using Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and custom electrical components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Support Engineering and Construction Contractors on an as needed basis.
• Support Operations and Maintenance as a technical resource when needed.
• Understand and apply industry codes for an industrial manufacturer.
• Provide instrumentation and controls design support through all project phases.
