Job summary

Atlantic Constructors, Inc. seeks an Electrical Designer to design and support electrical, instrumentation, and controls for modular manufacturing projects in a fast-paced environment.

The role focuses on safety, regulatory compliance, and reliability while collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, and fabrication teams. The ideal candidate will contribute to the development of modular buildings and data center infrastructure, leveraging Revit and electrical CAD skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Associate degree in Electrical, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent science degree.
• 5+ years of related experience in a Design Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering role.
• 5+ years of Electrical, Instrumentation or Controls installation experience.
• Advanced knowledge of API, NEC, NFPA, IEEE, etc.

Responsibilities

• Electrical, Instrumentation, and Controls design for capital projects.
• Create client issue drawings and detailed fabrication drawings in Revit.
• Develop electrical Revit families and components.
• Prepare single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedules, and panel schedules.
• Design and coordinate MCCs, switchboards, panelboards, PDUs, CDUs, PLC systems, and fire alarm systems.
• Support engineering and construction contractors as needed.
• Provide technical resource support to operations and maintenance.
• Apply industry codes to an industrial manufacturer.
