Actalent seeks an Electrical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the complete electrical design cycle for military systems. You will drive power systems requirements, design, integration, and verification to ensure robust military products.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, create cable diagrams, and develop test fixtures. The role emphasizes on-site integration after remote work, with significant interaction with customers and vendors.

Qualifications

• 5-15 years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer.
• Proficiency in electrical system design, including power system design.
• Experience with Altium for design purposes.
• Skilled in cabling and integration.
• Testing and evaluation capabilities.
• Experience in low voltage and automation is preferred.
• Familiarity with military and defense systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and support the development of requirements for electrical power systems for military products.
• Analyze, design, develop, integrate, and test electrical power systems.
• Participate in trade studies, analysis of alternatives, and capability analysis.
• Test and evaluate electrical systems with a team of engineers.
• Develop test fixtures and prototypes for diagnosing or testing specific components.
• Create and maintain cable diagrams and schematics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of electrical systems hardware.
• Provide technical support to other teams as needed.
• Interact with customers and vendors to ensure project success.
