Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. invites applications for an Electric Distribution Planner I. This entry‑level role supports planning, analysis, and development of electric distribution projects that power homes and communities.

The position is remote from Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK, with field and behind‑the‑scenes work to drive critical infrastructure projects. Expect to travel to client sites, coordinate service requests, and interpret as‑built documents using GIS data to support grid modernization

Qualifications

Associate's degree or combination of high school diploma and relevant work experience required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
No experience required; internships or power distribution experience preferred.
Valid driver's license required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with ArcGIS preferred.
Ability to learn new Work Management systems and technical tools such as AutoCAD and SAP.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset.
Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Travel regularly to client sites to assist in field surveys of electrical distribution networks using advanced tools and technology.
Coordinate new service requests and third‑party activities to support grid modernization.
Interpret as‑built documents and analyze electric distribution data using client GIS systems.
