Job summary

CHA Consulting, Inc. seeks an Electric Distribution Planner I to support planning, analysis, and development of electric distribution projects from remote locations in Tulsa, OK or Oklahoma City, OK.

This entry-level role offers hands-on experience in the utility industry while working remotely from home in the United States. You will travel to client sites, coordinate service requests, interpret as-built documents, and analyze distribution data with GIS tools, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and SAP, building

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or combination of high school diploma and relevant work experience required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• No experience required; prior internships or power distribution experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required; experience with ArcGIS preferred
• Ability to learn new Work Management systems and technical tools such as AutoCAD and SAP
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Responsibilities

• Travel regularly to client sites to assist in field surveys of electrical distribution networks using advanced tools and technology
• Coordinate new service requests and third-party activities to support grid modernization
• Interpret as-built documents and analyze electric distribution data using client GIS systems
