Job summary

TTX Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor I – Southern Region is a field-based role requiring travel up to 70% across multiple sites. You will lead safety programs, conduct risk assessments, and support incident investigations while ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s degree in related safety fields or 3+ years of EHS experience in heavy manufacturing, with strong communication skills and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational, Health & Safety Sciences (or related field).
• Or 3+ years’ EHS experience in heavy manufacturing.
• Technical writing experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in compliance reviews and safety assessments.
• Maintain EHS logs and documentation.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis.
• Conduct EHS trainings and meetings.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (OSHA, EPA) and PPE standards.
• Visit sites, implement EHS programs, and inspect facilities.
• Promote safety culture and corporate EHS policies.
