Job summary

TTX Company in Slaton, TX is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor I for the South Central Region. The role is based at our railcar repair facility in Slaton and requires onsite presence four days a week with one remote day, plus extensive travel to approximately 14 regional facilities.

You will lead the EHS program, conduct incident investigations, and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational, Health & Safety Sciences or related field is required.
• Minimum three years of experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position in a heavy manufacturing setting.
• Technical writing experience is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day EHS operations and provide technical support.
• Assist in compliance reviews, risk assessments, and safety program development.
• Maintain EHS logs, documentation, and regulatory reporting.
• Lead incident investigations and root-cause analysis.
• Provide EHS training and support facility managers.
