Job summary

TTX Company is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety Supervisor I for the South Central Region, based at the Slaton, TX railcar repair facility. The role requires onsite presence four days a week with one remote day, and travel 30-50% to support about 14 facilities across the region.

You will lead EHS operations, conduct incidents investigations, ensure regulatory compliance, and develop training programs to protect employees and visitors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety or related field, or a minimum of three years' experience in an Environmental, Health and Safety position in a heavy manufacturing industry environment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willing to travel up to 50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day operations of the EHS department and provide technical support.
• Assist in compliance reviews and risk assessments to support Health, Safety and Environmental management.
• Maintain relevant EHS logs and documentation.
• Lead detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis.
• Promote incident prevention and assist in EHS training development and delivery.
• Observe EHS regulations and ensure proper PPE usage and safety practices.
• Maintain positive relations with managers, employees, customers and regulatory agencies.
• Perform facility EHS inspections and oversee Hazardous Waste storage compliance.
