Job summary

TeamHealth is seeking a Clinical Applications Trainer/Implementation Specialist to train clinicians and staff on our EHR software and related applications. This temporary role supports deployment and ongoing configuration for expanding programs across client sites.

The position involves virtual training delivery, collaboration with multiple departments, and potential on-site client travel. Candidates should have healthcare/IT training experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare or IT field preferred or equivalent training experience.
• Minimum 1 year of reporting and data analysis experience.
• Minimum 1 year of Electronic Health Record, Charge Capture, or Ambient Listening software experience.
• Experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
• Strong analytical and statistical skills and experience.
• Excellent interpersonal, presentation, verbal and written communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver training content and lesson plans virtually to train staff in clinical applications (EHR, Charge Capture, Ambient Listening).
• Conduct technical training for end-users of applications (EHR, Charge Capture, Ambient Listening).
• Respond to/apply troubleshooting and resolve user issues; establish best practices.
• Define application problems by conferring with users; evaluate procedures and processes.
• Develop, document and implement solutions and enhancements to meet user needs.
• Collaborate with departments and end-users to document and improve standard business processes.
• Work with external consultants and vendors to rectify deployment/maintenance issues.
• Serve as subject matter expert in the use of the applications.
• Oversee form development and modifications to support custom forms at program level.
• Participate in testing for system upgrades.
• May perform special assignments as needed.
