Distance Learning Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Educational Specialist to provide instructional-related services for families and students in a virtual schooling program. You will work under Directors to deliver high-quality education and collaborate with the team.

The role requires a Oregon teaching license, relevant endorsements, and a commitment to a remote/office-based schedule within Oregon. Start date required for consideration and a 9-month work calendar.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Current State of Oregon Teaching License required.
• Endorsements as required by the Oregon Department of Education (ODE) with the appropriate endorsement in areas of assignment; Elementary-Multiple Subjects or equivalent license endorsement.

Responsabilidades

• Guide instructional plans according to individual student needs using various curricula and virtual tools.
• Initiate, plan, and conduct regular parent/student meetings via technology platforms.
• Complete daily and monthly reports.
• Respond to student portfolios, report cards, emails, texts, and phone calls daily.
• Maintain tracking/spreadsheet of student and family data.
• Coordinate with Special Ed team as caseload requires.
• Attend and participate in all required company/program virtual meetings.
• Plan and teach weekly virtual classes.
• Travel to and manage field trips as needed.
• Incorporate feedback and support continuous program innovation.
