Job summary

IXL Learning is seeking an Educational Sales Consultant to join our field sales team for a remote role serving the IXL and Rosetta Stone K-12 platforms. You will communicate product features to educators and tailor solutions to their needs.

You will travel up to 75-80% and help meet sales goals while shaping strategy and providing exceptional service at conferences nationwide. A BA/BS and 3+ years of educational sales experience are preferred, with classroom experience valued.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree required or equivalent.
• 3+ years of educational sales experience preferred.
• Classroom experience and/or related educational field preferred.
• Familiarity with Web-based technologies.
• Aptitude for working under pressure and meeting deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated success at managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively communicate key product features and benefits to prospective customers virtually.
• Develop understanding of customer needs to provide personalized assistance during the sales process.
• Meet sales goals on a consistent basis.
• Help design and implement new and creative sales strategies.
• Understand and keep up-to-date with changing market trends.
• Provide exceptional customer service to current and prospective customers.
• Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings.
• Promote IXL and Rosetta Stone at educational technology conferences nationwide.
• Ability to travel 75-80% with periodic overnights as required.
