Job summary

iLEAD Exploration is seeking a Long Term Sub, SpEd Teacher to support students with IEPs in a virtual setting. The Education Specialist Substitute will plan, implement, and update IEPs and coordinate with the IEP team to ensure instruction meets individualized goals.

The role emphasizes collaboration with school staff, parents, and facilitators to deliver inclusive instruction and crisis support as needed. The position offers an hourly rate of $35.00 and requires appropriate California SPED

Qualifications

• Experience with IEP development and implementations.
• Proven experience educating students with disabilities.
• Ability to collaborate with parents, facilitators, and school staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and implement IEPs collaboratively with an IEP Team when necessary for students assessed and identified with a disability.
• Provide targeted academic instruction for students with services established and documented on a student’s IEP.
• Monitor and update IEPs throughout the school year reflecting progress toward goals.
• Consult with IEP team members to discuss learner’s progress and services.
• Design appropriate teaching strategies for inclusive learning environments.
• Utilize educational technology and documentation tools to track progress.
