Job summary

Arizona State University’s EdPlus unit seeks a dedicated Success Coach to support graduate and undergraduate ASU Online students. You will guide students through goal setting, problem solving, and personalized planning to reach their academic and career aims.

In this role, you’ll communicate across channels, monitor engagement, and collaborate with partners to deliver high-quality, student-centered assistance in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on empowering learners to succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of experience in a relevant area or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Demonstrated service orientation with experience helping others, coaching, or advising individuals.
• Effective and persuasive communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with online programs and higher education environments.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with diverse populations.
• Experience using Salesforce, MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the main point of contact for ASU Online students as they progress through their degree program.
• Engage in proactive outreach to empower students with positive reinforcement and rapport-building.
• Coach students to develop plans for academic and career goals.
• Provide high-quality, student-centered support via text, email, phone, and chat at high volume.
• Build student knowledge, skills, attitudes, and beliefs to support success.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to solve problems and promote discovery.
