Job summary

U.S. Green Building Council seeks an Editorial Content Manager to own the content strategy and editorial direction for usgbc.org and the USGBC+ online magazine.

You will write, edit, and publish content from various contributors, manage freelancers, and maintain the editorial calendar in collaboration with marketing and communications. You’ll report to the Director of Global Corporate Communications and work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact programs and thought leadership that

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in writing, editing, communications or related fields.
• Experience managing publications workflow with multiple stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, PR, journalism, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead editor of the USGBC+ digital magazine; write, edit, and publish content; source photos and graphics.
• Grow content strategy and launch new features aligned with USGBC goals.
• Manage editorial calendar; ensure on-time delivery of content.
• Source and assign content with internal and freelance writers; promote membership and product coverage.
