Job summary

Prompt is hiring an EDI Analyst I to support 837/835 related inquiries via chat/email. You will engage with rehab therapy business owners and billing teams, applying creative solutions to meet unique client needs in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

You will troubleshoot clearinghouse rejections, EDI rules, and ERA enrollment, while driving efforts to improve enrollment and customer satisfaction across implementations.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of X12 message formats (837P, 837I, 835, 276, 277).
• Understanding of segments and looping/grouping structures.
• Experience with Healthcare EDI/ERA enrollment for Part A/B facilities.
• Experience as EDI Analyst troubleshooting clearinghouse rejections.
• Clear and effective communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
• Extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, able to multitask and work independently or in a team.
• Proven initiative to improve EDI/ERA processes and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep understanding of RCM/Clearinghouse capabilities for customer inquiries.
• Work independently with rehab therapy business owners and billing teams to meet needs.
• Resolve common support tickets: clearinghouse rejections, EDI rules, ERA/EDI help.
• Improve enrollment processes and provide EDI/ERA support enhancements.
• Assess customer needs to ensure successful enrollment transitions (NPI/TIN, payer mix).
• Oversee ERA/EDI enrollment process per onboarding schedule.
• Provide enrollment paperwork and support as requested.
• Monitor accounts for enrollment-related rejections during implementation.
